We really enjoy working with brands we can relate with, as it is the case of Bam&Boo which stands for “small actions lead to big changes”. Bam&Boo is an eco-friendly oral care brand born in 2017.
Idea
During 2018 and 2020 we were responsible for their social media, website and blog image content. Fernando and Nuno, brand partners, gave us full freedom to explore animation and mixed media with Bam&Boo products communication.
The delivery had to have an “organic” character inherent in the materials themselves. They underlined “We don’t want perfect, aseptic photos. We want organic and human images. And that somehow amplifies our values.”
So for the photo session the light played a vital role since all pieces were shot with natural daylight. Minimal aesthetic, cardboard texture and hand drawn letters & illustrations were part of the brand DNA defined closely with clients.
Since the brand was informal and relaxed, approaching environmental issues without being too “heavy”, humor and fun were tools to catch the audience.
